I've always been an early adopter of social media technology. I joined Facebook through my college in 2005, the same year I started blogging at Blogspot-- a blog I later migrated to Wordpress (and rarely use anymore). At the time I had personal webpages at Friendster and MySpace. I joined Twitter and Instagram early in their developments, too, and have watched them evolve. Now, social media is an integral part of our lives, but because I've been communicating on it for most of my adult life, I'm very good at it. My personal accounts are private, but the links below illustrate some of the social media sites I've used.
Besides using social media for my personal social life, I use it to promote my own poetry and others' (Facebook, Twitter, Soundcloud, YouTube), to collect data and teaching materials (especially via Pinterest), and to teach (Instagram, GroupMe, Tumblr, Band, Flipgrid, YouTube, and LMSs Blackbaud and Canvas).
